I am currently deployed in Afghanistan,which is very abusing on feet and the boots worn. These boots were painful to wear at first, everything was comfortable except the ankles. It felt like there was plastic cutting into my ankle, but after wearing them around the base and just everyday simple use,they finally became comfortable and some of the best boots I have ever owned. They have great traction and really come in handy for climbing up the mountains and dealing with the rocks that tear up most boots out here.

Wearing these boots is literally like walking on clouds - it's that comfortable. I highly recommend getting a "wide" size boot because, like some other reviewers have mentioned, it is a bit tight around the ankles due to the material.
However, after wearing these boots a bit they will stretch out and provide a more comfortable fit around your ankles.
I actually use these boots when I play airsoft and they are absolutely amazing. For now, they seem to be very durable but we'll just have to see in the long run.
If anyone is looking for some comfortable, versatile boots the Wellco Sniper Boots are a great buy.

I could not find the boots I got a few years ago... so after some shopping, I decided to try these. The price was great when compared to most boots. They are very light, they breath well, and they provide some real ankle support. I'm definitely a fan. Give them a couple of days to break in and they will be your next go-to boot.
