The quality of the leather is excellent. The soles are light and airy. They are easy to get on and off, unlike a pair of Aldo boots I recently purchased. These Doc Martens look great, and I paid less than sixty-five clams, including shipping. Couldn't be more pleased with this purchase.

My husband loves these boots for comfort and style but this is his 3rd pair that within weeks the sole comes apart from the boot, leaving a big gaping hole on the side. This is with normal wear and tear. Will not buy again and will likely be contacting Dr. Martens for compensation for their faulty product.

These boots have been very comfortable and the leather has stood up to almost a year of everyday wear. However, the sole isn't sown to the shoe as in other Dr. Marten shoes and boots. I have had to super glue the sole on both boots several times already. It remains intact for several weeks and then separates again. Additionally, the loops at the top and rear of the boot are easily torn from the leather. I have owned, Dr. Marten Boots for over 7 years and the workmanship on this pair of boots is just plain poor. They have been a disappointment and I hope are not indicative of the more 'modern' shoes that Dr. Marten is producing.
